Portraiture is a beautiful and timeless way to remember those special horses and pets in our lives.  They also make amazing gifts.  If you are interested in commissioning a portrait of your animal, or a friend’s, here is some information about my portraits and the process...

Backgrounds will be neutral unless requested. Additional fees may apply for background subjects.  Additional animals are welcome. I recommend at least 11x14 for additional animals in order to maintain a good level of detail. Additional fees may apply for additional subjects.

I will need well-lit, in focus photo of the subject. If two or more subjects are involved, separate photos are fine. You can mail or email reference photos.  Please do not send professional photos without the permission of the photographer.  All original photos are protected during the creative process and returned with the finished portrait. Photo sessions can also be arranged.

If your portrait is a gift for a birthday, holiday or other specific date, please allow plenty of time - preferably at least 2 months.  Prices do not include matting or framing.
